Recently through Apt #11, I discovered this fabulous livingroom makeover from Wish Magazine (left image). I want to make sure I have it forever logged on as a resource so I can go back to it. At the moment I particularly find these spaces inspirational and a reflection of my own design aesthetic - whatever it is:
The rich color and texture play up the whimsical and dreamy ambience without being overwhelming and without excessive use of pastels. Check out the sparkly chandeliers in these photos!
After poking aimlessly on the web I found more delicious pictures from desginer Liza Giles's home . She definite has great style and taste. And what a fabulous wardrobe!

Early this month, I ordered a 10gm eyeshadow from Lumiere and according to the USPS website, it was delivered two weeks ago around 1:48 PM on October 12, 2007. But the package never arrived!!! There was evidence of the package having been delivered but I really did not receive it. I emailed Kim at Lumiere asking her what to do. Kathy responded, saying that, since it was something not the fault of their end and due to the fact that the post office had the package and scanned it at the proper address I must contact usps. Of course after reading that, I was frantic and frustrated. It's apparent to me that it is either lost the package, or delivered it to the wrong address. When I called the post office they told me to contact the sender!! ARGGGG. I emailed Kathy back and once again they told me to deal with USPS. After several emails, Kim replied back saying "we just cannot reship an order that shows delivery - if we did we would be in the red pretty quick" and they "are not the party at fault."
I have to say that I am very dissappointed with Lumiere. It is obvious they don't care. Since the only option here is to deal with usps on my own, then I will continue this investigation with them. Going forward I will stop recommending their products.
