Aww, sorry to hear that!! If I were you I'd be pissed too, but honestly I can't blamed Lumiere either :(. Anyway, Lumi used to be my HG companies, I ordered like 8 times from them (which is a lot for me :)), but lately I just found there are better products/alternatives too out there. And I think I have almost all of my WL from them so I won't be ordering from them soon :p. Hope you found a new HG too!

So sorry to hear about this! A similar thing happened to me when I ordered a flat top brush from ForeverFemale. There was evidence of it being shipped and delivered but I never received the brush. I contacted FF and she said to speak to my mailman, which i did. He looked for my package at the post office and he couldn't find it. So I assume it was delivered to the wrong address. I contacted FF again and she very kindly sent me a replacement brush for free. Although it's not Lumiere's fault the package went missing, I would be frustrated and upset too, if I received a response like the one you got. :(

So sorry this happened to you. :( I would be frustrated too if I got such a response, plus I'm an international customer, so it would be harder for me as the package would definitely be stuck somewhere in the customs or somewhere else. And there isn't any tracking once it's shipped out of US. I do hope you'll be able to find your package.

Oh, so sorry that this happened, it really sucks :(  I have had this happen too, but like Lili, the company came through and sent me a replacement order at no cost to me.  And I did have to file loss/claim w/the USPS.  I don't blame you for being upset and I think it's sort of rare that companies will do this (replace for free), as it could get quite costly for them.

It's okay...starting Nov 1 they're changing their minimum purchase to $25.  I think that's really unfair to people who are new to Lumiere and just want to try it...I'm definitely not going to order as often as I was planning to with that...

I've had the same kind of thing happen on eBay and just filed a claim with Paypal.  If you paid with Paypal then maybe you can try that

are some new holiday goodies coming out though....but I really appreciated their free shipping and thought that I could do multiple orders all I wanted without making sure I got everything I needed to save on shipping in one order.  But now I can't even do that and have to make sure I reach $25 everytime which is a pain....so I would prob just order from someplace else.

I agree that is too bad for those new to Lumiere who may not want to spend that much the first time out of the gate.  I tried to find that on the site, but couldn't and the link didn't work :(

Oh, it's the LUMIERE link next to HOME on the top left corner under the logo.  They have their Fall/Winter 2007 updates up!

Yup I read this at their website yesterday. :( What a bummer...plus I'm international. So I really need to make sure I have everything in one go. Arghhh...even if I wanted just samples, I'd need like 25+ samples to reach the minimum. :(

I hate that happened to you.  I know when I send a package I'm on edge until I hear that it was received.  I'd hate to run a mail order business being totally reliant on the postal service.  It's so out of both parties control.

its always antagonizing to wait for a mail, especially im an international buyer based in singapore. mails seem to take forever to come, im not even at the exorbitant shipping fees part yet..

I guess these sorta of things can't be helped and hard to pinpoint whos the one at fault. i hope the on-going sales last weekend cheered you up.. :)
